In the Room
the room was not clean. the furnishing was not clean. the air was not clean.
we shopped around quite a bit before choosing Baymont. We chose Baymont because the reviews were very good and the price was fair
The front desk clerk at night was a nice gentlemen. The location of the property allowed for quick access to I-94 and a trip into Chicago.
It was loud at night with a lot of people running up and down and milling in the hallways. Even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking bank of rooms, there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke coming from the room next to me. I also experienced some bugs in the room. The bathroom area was small and the toilet tilted when you sat on it. There was not a feeling like you were in a safe area. I did not venture out in the evening for that reason.
The location is very good.
We booked a No-smoking room, but the room's bed has extremely heavy cigaret stink ,and the blanket on the bed is covered in holes burnt by cigaret.
We booked the hotel because of the cost and the photo and description on your website. We were shocked when we arrived. The neighborhood was not what we thought it would be. The pool was dirty and you could barely breathe in there. Our room was so dirty. Our feet were black from the dirty carpet. The sheets and bedspread and carpet were burned from cigarettes. The floor was sticky in the dining area. Our main reasons for leaving were the dirty conditions and the uneasy feeling we had being there. I really think that your website should remove this hotel or at the very least, change the photo and information.
The hotel location was great, right off the freeway. I would stay there again. We went to see Jimmy Buffet and it was close enough to drive back to after gettin out late.
The guests other were very rude at the continental breakfast
Nothing, they are unfriedly liars
The service at the desk was very poor in entry and exit. The breakfast was all carbs, not even a yougart on the spread. The location was not real safe feeling for a single female traveler.
The air conditioning and wireless worked well.
The Baymont Inn and Suites was a lo-end hotel just off the interstate in an area that was busy with traffic and people loitering and smoking at the front door, a sign taped to the dirty door that prohibited non-hotel guests from using the restrooms. Generally the place was unpleasant. The building was very dated, the grounds unkempt and the room smelled very strongly of a chemical deodorizer. The carpet and bedspread looked dirty. We would have turned around and found another hotel- but decided to take our chances because we were exhausted and it was late. We were so happy to get out of there in the morning.
Smoky room although it was a non smoking room. Didn't feel the area was safe. Noisy with many children in hall and at pool and next morning in breakfast room. Elevator problems with no signage on all floors.
Nothing about this hotel was likable.
Constant fighting in the hallways, open smoking indoors both cigarettes and weed, the hallways were actually foggy and they advertised a breakfast, but never served one, not even coffee. The rooms were filthy, towels were dirty, bedding was dirty and ripped, fridge still had food in it from last occupant, the carpets were filthy, they actually stained my socks. What a gross experience. The pure derelict condition of the building is obvious within entering the doors, they can't even spend the money to fix a leaky roof.
the lavatory was inside the room instead of the bathroom so it was annoying for other occupants.
Soap in the room was awful-pillows were skimpy
It was better than a hotel I had seen the night before.
We were on the 2nd floor in a "non-smoking" room but everytime I went into the bathroom it reeked of cigarette smoke. The people down the hall made loud noise all night long. So spit all over the buttons on the elevator (simply disgusting). Needless to say I WILL NOT stay there ever again.
Helaas toch wel ver van de stad Chicago. Voor oudere kinderen niet echt een plaats waar je hen er alleen op uit stuurt.
